Government today said that any agency found indulging in irregularities in the Commonwealth Games will be dealt with severely after the games. The Urban Development minister S Jaipal Reddy said this while inaugurating the weightlifting auditorium at Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex in New Delhi, that the venue is a multipurpose auditorium and will be used for conducting theatre, opera and film screening after the Games. Sports minister Dr. M.S. Gill was also present on the occasion. Both the ministers urged the media to present an unbiased pictures of the preparations of the games. Meanwhile, Communist Party of India(Marxist) and Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) have demanded a high level probe into the charges of financial corruption in the XIX New Delhi Commonweath Games. Senior CPI(M) leader and former MP Mohammad Saleem said as the prestige of the country is involved in the CWG hence a proper probe should be made to find out the people involved in minting money on the name of the Games. LJP president Ramvilas Paswan said that though a probe should be ordered on the scam but the top priority of the government should be to hold the Games in a successful manner.
