<br/>Union New and Non Renewable resources minister Dr. Fahrooq Abdulla on Wednesday launched the guidelines for Off-Grid and roof-top solar applications under Jawaharlal Nehru National solar Mission in Delhi. <br/> <br/>The project developers can apply for their projects on web portal of EREDA between 15th July and 16th August, 2010. Commercial projects ranging from 100 Kilo watts to 2 Mega watts will be auctioned in later half of the year while domestic roof top projects upto 230 kilo volts will be served on first cum first bases.<br/> <br/>The minister said that Government will provide 90% capital subsidy of the benchmark cost in Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Himanchal Pradesh, Uttrakhand and North East states. <br/> <br/>The minister expressed his willingness to promote domestic comapanies over China and foreign companies. He said that government will not allow to import more than 33% of the spare parts.<br/>
