Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that the impact of GST will not only be on indirect taxes but also on direct taxes. He said today's mantra of taxation is that it will be paid if tax payers are honest. Mr. Jaitley was speaking at a book release function in New Delhi today. The Minister said the NDA government has taken various steps to make taxation laws transparent, efficient and technology based.
