Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that GST will minimise the harassment to the honest tax payers and brings the greater accountability to the system. <br/><br/>Inaugurating the newly constructed complex of National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, in Bengaluru today, the minister said, this system is administered by both the central and states. <br/><br/>He also said, New Indirect Tax System is the product of federal India and the co-ordination between Central and States will be very important.<br/><br/>Mr Jaitley said, GST will help to stop the tax evasion practices and to become the more tax compliance society.
