<span style="color: #222222;">A Nationwide GST Stakeholder Feedback Diwas for new GST returns was observed yesterday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The aim of organizing this event was to get an on-the-spot response to the new GST Returns to be introduced from 1st of April next year. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) said that there has been an overwhelming response from GST stakeholders and several useful suggestions were received during the event. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The programme was widely welcomed by GST stakeholders and tax professional fraternity. CBIC said that the CGST officers explained the new GST Returns and encouraged the participants to themselves upload these Returns and give feedback in this regard. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">CBIC further said that the detailed feedback would be available by tomorrow and it will further work on it to facilitate ease of compliance and convenience to taxpayers. CBIC said that programme is hailed as a step in the right direction for greater transparency in tax administration.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Delhi, officials from CGST heard and responded to queries of the stakeholders towards resolving the grievances.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Participants including taxpayers found the event informative and said these kinds of events will help them to resolve the queries related to filing of GST return. They urged the government to ease the process as this will facilitate them to pay tax in a timely manner. Businessman KK Garg talked to AIR News.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A senior GST officer Kanika Dua said, the idea is to take a feedback from the GST payers.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) Chairman Pranab Kumar Das told AIR News, the focus is on assessing the ease of compliance and uploading of these new returns. He said, this is being done so that the traders do not face any difficulty when the returns are made legally mandatory. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had invited some GST taxpayers, Chartered Accountants and Tax practitioners to assess first-hand response to the various GST returns especially the new returns to be introduced.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">GST revenue collection witnessed an impressive recovery with a positive growth of six per cent in November as compared to the collections of the same month last year. The gross GST revenue collected in November was one lakh three thousand 492 crore rupees.</span><br />
