Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said GST Council today discussed six economic sectors, including telecom, IT, and insurance. <br/><br/>Briefing media after the meet in New Delhi this evening, Mr Jaitley said the sectors made their case for centralised registration. <br/><br/>He said the 3rd IGST law was discussed, and initial 10 of its 11 chapters have been approved. The Minister said some issues remain to be discussed and the Council will meet again on 16th of this month as today's meeting remained inconclusive.<br/><br/>He said the case of state is it should be allowed to raise taxes. Mr Jaitley said a constitutional solution has to be found which should be legally tenable.
