The Goods and Services Tax, GST Council today tentatively approved the drafts of four sets of rules. Briefing reporters after the 13th meeting of the Council, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, the four sets of rule are GST input tax credit, valuation, transition provisions and composition rules. <br/><br/>Mr Jaitley said, the final corrective draft as approved today will be put up in public domain for industry suggestion. He said, the council also finalized five others for rollout of the GST regime from the 1st of July. <br/><br/>Mr Jaitley said, five other rules finalized in today's meeting are on registration of entities under the GST regime, filing of returns, payment of tax and refund, invoicing and debit and credit notes in consonance with the GST law approved by Parliament this week. The next meeting will take place on the 18th and 19th of May in Srinagar.
