In the 2008 Neeraj Grover murder case, Kannada actress Maria Susairaj has been sentenced to three years imprisonment while her fiancee Emile Jerome Mathew has been given 10 years in jail by the Mumbai’s session’s court today. Three years after Neeraj Grover was killed and his body hacked to pieces, a session’s court in Mumbai yesterday convicted Jerome on the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and causing disappearance of evidence while Susairaj was found guilty of causing disappearance of evidence. Susairaj has already completed three years in jail during the trial. The court ruled that it was not premeditated murder.
