Group of Ministers, on Telengana today approved the cabinet note and finalised the draft Telangana bill to be considered by the Cabinet. Talking to reporters in New Delhi after the meeting, Union Ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad and Jairam Ramesh said that the draft Bill and the note will be taken up for approval by the Cabinet on Thursday.

AIR correspondent reports that after the approval of cabinet Telangana bill will be introduced in parliament during the session beginning tomorrow.

Telugu Desam Party workers and legislators from seemandhra region today protested in front North Block a few minutes before the meeting of the Group of Ministers on Telangana in New Delhi. Police detained about 30 protesters and later released them.
