Center has set up a cell in the Home Ministry to address the grievances of people of Jammu and Kashmir particularly students residing outside the State. The Ministry today nominated Dr. Sanjay Roy, Director (Media) in J&K Division as the Nodal Officer of the cell.<br/><br/>The People can send their grievances round the clock on phone numbers- 011- 23092923 and 23092885. They can also send email at dirmjk-mha@nic.in<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Home Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the security situation in Kashmir Valley. Top officials, including Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi and chiefs of intelligence agencies, briefed the Minister on the prevailing situation in the state and the steps taken to maintain law and order. Sources said, the meeting had a discussion on the report of a committee which suggested alternatives to pellet guns. <br/><br/>An all-party delegation will visit the state next week and meet individuals, groups and political leaders in a fresh attempt to bring peace in the valley.
