<span style="color: #222222;">In Mizoram, Green Mizoram Day was observed throughout the state today with distribution and planting trees and taking pledge to work for improvement of environment and maintaining ecological balance. The state has been observing the day for the last 20 years since 1999.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On this occasion, Governor P.S Shreedharan Pillai planted saplings at the premises of Raj Bhavan. This year, the popular mass plantation drive has been avoided due to the COVID-19 pandemic and mandatory health care guidelines.
