Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister, Mr.M.K.Alagiri laid the foundation stone for a 34.25 crore rupees Granite Polishing Unit at Melur near Madurai on Saturday. He said that machines for the granite unit would be imported from Italy and the unit would provide employment to 400 people in and around Madurai.<br/>
