Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has announced observance of rural prosperity and cleanliness fortnight – Gram Samridhi evam Swachhata Pakhwada – from 1st to 15th of next month. The fortnight will be celebrated in all Gram panchayat across the country. <br/><br/>Addressing media in New Delhi today, he said, people in the villages will be encouraged to participate in Gram sabha meetings and take up issues for development of the villages.<br/><br/>
