In Kerala, the CBI Special Court in Kochi today ordered the issue of non-bailable warrant against Claus Trendl, former Senior Vice-President of the Canada-based SNC Lavalin Company in the multi-crore Lavalin graft case. Claus Trendl is the 6th accused in the case.The Special Court Judge K P Jyothindranath also ordered that fresh summons be issued to the company's office in New Delhi. The judge posted the hearing of the case to November 10.The case relates to the alleged irregularities involved in awarding the contract for renovating and modernisation works of three hydel projects in the state to SNC Lavalin company.
