Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely has said that unclaimed amount of government investments will be taken care of for the health care of senior citizens. He said in Kochi yesterday that the Government is currently working on this programme, which was approved in the Finace Bill last year. <br/><br/>Mr. Jaitely was attending a function to announce distribution of 800 crore rupees to 1,11,111 beneficiaries under the Karunya Benevolent Fund, a social security programme of the Kerala government.<br/><br/><br/> He also pointed out that a new and definite vision is coming up before the whole country that the fruits of developments should not be confined to a particular fortunate section of the people. <br/><br/><br/>Mr Jaitley said only 11 per cent of the total population of the country have the benefit of pension now. In this situation, states has to step in various forms of social security schemes, Mr. Jaitely said.
