<span style="color: #222222;">The government has accorded top priority to address widespread under-nutrition in the country, Health Minister J P Nadda on Wednesday said.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, there are different programmes and schemes to address the problem of under-nutrition among the children.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Nadda was speaking during the 3rd meeting of the National Council on India's Nutrition Challenges in New Delhi.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Health Minister also stressed the need for involving local leaders in the nutrition initiatives of the Government.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, Government has implemented – MAA- Mothers' Absolute Affection" programme in order to improve breastfeeding coverage in the country.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram and Rashtriya Kishore Swasthya Karyakram, systematic efforts are being undertaken to detect nutrition deficiency among children and adolescents.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
