All India Trade Union Congress, AITUC Gereral Secretary Gurudas Dasgupta has alleged that the Government's silence over various labour issues has forced trade unions to go on strike. Speaking exclusively to AIR, Mr Dasgupta said, the government did not offer any tangible solution to demands including minimum wages for workers. He said, the strike will be peaceful and successful. Dasgupta said, the impact of the BMS pullout will be minimal on the strike.
