Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that government's reform agenda has strengthened the sentiment of investors towards India resulting in greater money coming into the country. In an exclusive interview to DD News, Mr Jaitley said that significant work is being done in the infrastructure and agriculture sectors and government is making special efforts to tackle the farmer's issues particularly irrigation. The Finance Minister said that government is taking steps to ensure transparency in its functioning. He said that the steps taken has resulted in decline in corruption. Mr Jaitley who also heads the Information and Broadcasting Ministry said, giving bias-free news and programmes is the prime responsibility of Prasar Bharati.
