Govt's budget is historic step for welfare of farmers and working class: PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said government's budget is a historic step for welfare of farmers and working class and blamed the opposition for making false claims over farm loan waiver. He said the politics of waiving farmer loans is actually an effort to throw dust in the eyes of farmers.  <br />''  <br />'' Modi said more than 12 crore families of small farmers, 30-40 crore workers and 3 crore middle-class families will directly benefit from the various schemes announced in the budget.H e was speaking at  a public rally in Thakurnagar in West Bengal.<br />''  <br />'' The Prime Minister made a blistering attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee accusing her of orchestrating violence against BJP workers. <br />''  <br />'' He made a strong pitch for the passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill that seeks to accord Indian citizenship to non-Muslim minorities that fled Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh due to persecution. <br />''  <br />'' Before the rally, Prime Minister visited Matua Thakurbari and the leader of the community Baro Ma, who is the widow of the founder Matua Mahasangh. <br />''  <br />'' According to News Agency,PTI, due to commotion and stampede like conditions at the rally ground, the Prime Minister cut short his address to the rally. <br />''  <br />'' The Prime Minister  will visit Durgapur and will dedicate to the nation the Railway electrification of 294- km-long Andal- Sainthia-Pakur-Malda  and Khana- Sainthia  Sections. <br />''  <br />'' Electrification of this section will enable ease of transportation of coal and stone chips to North and North East India in a seamless manner.<br />''  <br />'' He will also dedicate the 20 km long Hijli- Narayangarh third line to the nation.<br />
