<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today said, government is working towards River Ganga's continuous flow and cleaning the river. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Briefing media in New Delhi this afternoon on notification of e-Flow of Ganga, the Minister said, work is also being done on the 40 tributaries of the river. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He added that 34 projects on Yamuna and 12 projects in Delhi are being organized. The Central government has notified minimum environmental flows to be maintained at locations downstream of projects meant for diversion of river flows for purposes like irrigation and hydropower. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Environmental flows are the acceptable flow regimes that are required to maintain a river in the desired environmental state or predetermined state. Mr Gadkari said that the notification of e-flow for the river would go a long way in ensuring its continuous flow. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Reiterating the government's commitment towards an Aviral and Nirmal Ganga, the Minister informed that the draft Ganga Act will soon be sent to the Cabinet for approval.</span>
