The government today said it is working towards rehabilitation of bidi workers and alternate cropping system in the states where the incidence of bidi making is highest. Speaking at a National Consultation Meet on Tobacco Control in New Delhi today, the Minister of State for Health Mr. Dinesh Trivedi said that the help of Agriculture Ministry, The National Institute of Rural Government and other concerned departments is being sought in this regard.
