Winding up his 2-day tour to Mizoram, Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest & Climate Change (Independent Charge) Anil Madahv Dave said that the Central Government is working on to bring out a National River Policy very soon. The Minister was speaking to mediapersons at State Guest House in Aizawl today.<br/><br/>The Minister said that wildlife should be preserved and protected. Emphasising the need for protection of environment, the Minster said that "Development & Environment protection goes hand in hand". <br/><br/>Earlier, the Minister have interacted with state government officials and NGOs. The Minister, on his maiden visit to Mizoram arrived yesterday and left for New Delhi this afternoon.
