The government is working on a strategy to boost Make In India initiative, so as to increase share of manufacturing in India's GDP. Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu today said, focus should be put on districts to ensure growth of the country. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference on 3rd meeting of Council for Trade Development and Promotion which was held this morning in New Delhi, Mr Prabhu said, Centre is working with states to promote organic farming.<br/><br/> He said, growing customer demands cannot be beaten especially in manufacturing and infrastructure investment is necessary to further improve the GDP. He said, ensuring high quality of product is a priority for the government and efforts are being made to set global standards for goods and services.
