Union Coal and Energy Minister Piyush Goyal today said that the Centre is working on two projects for providing electricity in every nook and corner of the country on reasonable price. Addressing a public function in Chindwara of Madhya Pradesh, he said that Deendayal Gram Jyoti Vidutikaran Yojna has been launched for electrification of rural areas while Integrated Power Development Scheme has been started to improve electrification in urban areas. <br/><br/>Mr. Goyal said that one lakh 10 thousand crore rupees will be spent on these two schemes. The minister said that the coal production has been increased in the country and there is no scarcity of coal for power production units. Mr. Goyal also laid foundation stone for Skill Development Centre in Chindwara.
