<span style="color: #222222;">The government today said that the Law Commission of India has recommended the inclusion of common electoral rolls during polls conducted by the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the State Election Commissions. <br />''<br />''In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju said electoral reforms are continuous and ongoing. He said, the government will take appropriate steps in consultation with various stakeholders to make the election process more accountable and transparent. The Minister said various state governments and Union Territories are using the electoral roll data prepared by the ECI for preparing the electoral roll for local bodies and panchayat elections.</span><br />
