Govt. will not tolerate human rights violation: Omar Abdullah

<br/>Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday said his government will not tolerate any human rights violations and warned of severe action against perpetrators, instigators and disruptive elements.<br/> Chairing a high-level meeting of ministers and police officials, the Chief Minister said his government is concerned, conscious and vigilant to deal firmly with those found indulging in human rights violations. He said at the meeting which was called to discuss the situation following the killing of two youths in Sopore in North Kashmir,that the administration should take proactive preventive measures to ensure that no innocent civilian causalities occur. He laid special emphasis on the need for the security force personnel to strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedures, SOP to deal with any situation particularly in the light of the recent developments.<br/> The Chief Minister asked all forces deployed in the state<br/>have to exercise utmost restraint while dealing with the civilians and warned that those found guilty of human rights violations will be dealt with strictly as per law.<br/> All the ministers issued an appeal to the people to see through the nefarious designs of those elements who, without forsaking their own comforts, were putting the people of the state in discomfort.<br/>
