Minister for Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that through the Digital India programme, Government wishes to empower ordinary citizens with the power of technology, a technology that is low-cost, developmental and inclusive. <br />''<br />''Addressing Financial Inclusion Summit in New Delhi this morning, Mr Prasad said, Government is trying to push India's digital economy to a 1 trillion dollar economy. <br />''<br />''He said, eight Indian startups have become unicorns with more than 1 billion dollar revenue.<br />''<br />''Speaking about AADHAR, the Minister said, biometric data on Aadhaar is kept in safe and secure conditions and in an encrypted form. He reiterated that AADHAR data cannot be breached.   <br />''<br />''On Artificial Intelligence, Mr Prasad said,  India should become the centre for data analysis to enable innovation and foster artificial intelligence. He called for use of artificial intelligence with a human touch.<br />''<br />''The Minister said, the philosophy of the government has been to create the enabling ecosystem that people can do honest business in and pay tax and use that tax to help the poor. <br />''<br />''Addressing the summit, CEO of NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant said, technology has to be the key driver for financial inclusion.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said, India must come out with a strong privacy law and should allow the private sector to innovate.</span><br />
