New Delhi says it is independently verifying the reports about the presence of Chinese troops in Gilgit and Baltistan in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, PoK. External Affairs Ministry Spokesman Vishnu Prakash told media persons that if the reports are true, it could be a matter of serious concern.Mr Prakash added that India will do everything possible to ensure the safety and security of the nation. Earlier, New York Times in a report said that Chinese have activated its airfields along the Line of Actual Control and enhanced its military presence and capabilities in the area.
