The Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani has said English language barrier is a great challenge for many students in the country and the Government is trying to address the issue. Responding to the queries of participants in the Education Conclave organized by a Englishs daily in Chennai, she said a new aptitude test format is being developed by the Centre to assess students' interests on specific subjects. She informed that a new education policy reflecting the expectations of all stakeholders is also being developed.
