Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today expressed hope that nothing will be done by BJP toprecipitate the situation in the state. After meeting Home Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi, Mr Abdullah said, his government is trying its best to bring back Kashmiri Pandits who have left the Valley due to the loss of sense of security. The Chief Minister apprised the Home Minister the BJP’s plan to hoist the Tricolour at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk on January 26. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Omar Abdullah said, the Home Ministry has already done its own home work on the issue. The Chief Minister had been urging the BJP to not carry out its plan to hoist the Tricolour in Lal Chowk owing to the fragile situation in the valley.
