<span style="color: #222222;">Union Government has decided to withdraw the draft prepared for amendments to the Indian Forest Act, 1927 to remove any misgiving about taking away the right of the tribals and forest dwellers.<br />'' <br />'' Briefing the media in New Delhi today, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said, the government is committed to give more rights to tribals and forest dwellers.<br />'' <br />'' He said, the government has withdrawn the draft of amendment in Forest Act as government has no intention to take away the rights of the tribals and forest dwellers.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking on the occasion, Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda said, on the Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the government has withdrawn the draft of amendment pertaining to Forest Act. He said, this step will benefit the tribals and forest dwellers to a great extent.</span>
