Minister of Agriculture and Farmers welfare, Narender Singh Tomar today assured the Parliament that the Government will take necessary action against the use of chemical fertilizers after the ICAR or ICMR will come out with their reports on the ill effects of these fertilizers.<br />'' <br />'' Minister also said that the study has to be through the State governments.<br />'' <br />'' Raising this issue in the Lok Sabha during the question hour, Rajiv Pratap Rudy of Saran Constituency said that the prevalence of cancer in rural areas is very high. He said that it is not acceptable that even after 70 years, the government has not taken any study on the effects of chemical fertilizers.                                                       <br />''  <br />
