Emphasising that security of the country is prime, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sunil Arora today said one has to evaluate whether Indian channels' reporting of the conflict zone is as matured as that of the foreign channels. He further said that there has to be a check on web portals or channels violating security and other protocols and if they are found guilty the Government would take action against them. Mr. Arora was speaking at the FICCI Frames Conference 2016, on the Future of Media in Digital India in Mumbai.<br/> <br/>Mr. Arora said there have to be lesser restrictions in entertainment and other media but they should understand their responsibilities and exercise some restrictions. He added that his ministry aims to make India the media destination in terms of investment and efforts would be made so that more and more movies are shot in India itself. He added that to encourage states in this regard, cinema-friendly states would be awarded. He informed that the ministry has undertaken Rs. 598 crore project for the conservation of over 1000 films. Besides this, National Film Museum would also be started in Mumbai and a permanent National Photo Gallery would be made in New Delhi.
