<span style="color: #222222;">Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda has assured that government will continuously support the National Scheduled Tribe Commission in its bid to uplift the interests of tribal communities. He said, the Commission should reach out and address the grievances of those living in far flung areas and who are unaware of the their constitutional benefits. Speaking at the inaugural function of 16th Foundation Day of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes in New Delhi today, Mr Munda appealed the commission to focus on addressing special issues, including redressal of grievances and cases of atrocities against tribal communities. He said, a special research team should be constituted to find out how much these tribal have gained social and economic benefits post independence.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />'' He also urged the commission to collect the real-time data of the beneficiaries of the government schemes meant for tribes. He said, though the cases of promotions in government services and land acquisitions occupy the list of grievances most, but issues of tribes who are unaware about their rights must be given centre stage.
