Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME, Kalraj Mishra has said that his Ministry is developing entrepreneurship in rural areas among women through small scale industries.Addressing global research and development summit in New Delhi today, Mr Mishra stressed on research and innovation to take entrepreneurship to a new level. He said, an innovation fund is being started by his Ministry to promote knowledge-driven ventures in MSME sector. He informed that with World Bank assistance, his Ministry will establish 50 new technology development centres for MSME sectors.He added that presently 30 tool rooms and technology development centers are under the Ministry which are working for innovation and research. Mr Mishra said, important parts of Mangalyaan was developed in these tool rooms.
