Minister of Forest and Environment Jairam Ramesh said that the Govt will fast forward the process to relocate villages situated in Sariska Tiger Sanctuary in Rajasthan. 30 crore rupee will be spent on shifting of villagers.He disclosed this after visiting the sanctuary today to enquire about death of a tiger 2 days ago. The tiger was shifted to Sariska from Ranthambhor, two and half years ago.Jairam Ramesh said that forest administration is responsible for death of tiger. According to initial information, poison was given to the tiger. Ramesh said that there is a need of better monitoring of tigers in sanctuary. He said that there are possibilities of getting information about another missing tiger soon.Meanwhile, the state govt has suspended 2 senior forest officials of Sariska. Chief Minster Ashok Gehlot said in Jaipur that a task force will be constituted for protection of tigers in sanctuaries.
