Govt to speed up development of UAV calls Rustom-2

The government is to speed up the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle or UAV called Rustom-2.

Its first flight is scheduled in February 2014. The Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO has taken up the project.

Giving this information in the Lok Sabha today, Defence Minister A.K. Antony said, it will be a Medium Altitude Long Endurance unmanned aircraft.
