Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh today asked state Governments to speed up implementation of central schemes meant for increasing agriculture productivity and reducing the costs. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad this morning, he said there is no fund crunch for implementation of farmer friendly schemes. Stating that the Centre is determined to provide Soil Health Cards to all farmers in the country, Mr Radha Mohan Singh asked states to speed up issuance of the cards and create awareness among farmers about the same.<br/><br/>Recalling that the prices of fertilizers have come down after 15 years, the minister said stringent action will be taken against those who create obstructions in making available these fertilizers to farmers.
