Centre will work together with state Governments for positive resolution of issues related to Goods and Services Tax (GST). Talking to reporters after a meeting of State Finance Ministers, Minister of State for Finance, Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Centre heard the concerns of all states. She said that several states demanded compensation on Central Sales Tax (CST). Sitharaman said most of the states are not in favour of bringing petroleum products in the purview of GST. She said the Government will consider all the issues raised by states.The meeting which was chaired by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was convened to sort out differences over the implementation of GST.
