Minister of State for PMO Jitendra Singh said the government will soon implement the process to do away with interviews for lower rank jobs, particularly for group C and D non-gazetted posts in central government. Addressing a meet in New Delhi, Mr Singh said, it will bring more merit and transparency in the recruitment process. <br/><br/>The Minister also said , he has written a letter to all Chief Ministers and asked them to identify such posts which could be exempted from interviews.<br/> <br/>Earlier the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Mann ki Baat programme had said, there won't be any interruption in the ongoing recruitment processes, but the decision would come into effect from 1st of January .
