The Government has decided to release additional quota of subsidised wheat to Delhi to meet its growing demand. This was stated by minister for Food and Consumer Affairs K V Thomas while talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi on Wednesday. He said this decision was taken at a meeting with Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit.Meanwhile, in order to provide relief to the consumers of Delhi, Mr Thomas also launched good quality Agmark Chakki Atta scheme at low price under the Kendriya Bhandar brand. The Atta will be avialble at 144 rupees and 50 paise per bag of 10 Kilogram.AIR correspondent reports that Agmark Chakki Atta is available in all 89 retail stores of Kendriya Bhandar in Delhi.
