The government will raise bonds of 2,360 crore rupees for renewable energy. A decision in this regard was taken by the Union Cabinet this evening. <br/><br/>The bonds will be raised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and funds will be used in various renewable energy programmes. <br/><br/>The decision will boost infrastructure in the sector and facilitate achievement of ambitious targets for the renewable energy sector.
