Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that the Government has proposed allocation of 70 thousand crore rupees in four years for capitilisation of Public Sector Banks.<br/><br/>Tabling the first batch of supplementary demands of grants for 2015-16 in Parliament Friday, Mr Jaitley said, 12 thousand crore rupees have been allocated for bank capitalization this year. The Minister said, the step would give a boost for investment and growth in the country. He said it is a long overdue step and the government is now implementing it.<br/><br/>Mr Jaitley said, the government is committed to support bank capitalisation in future too. With the infusion of the amount provision for bank capitalization will reach a total of 20 thousand crore rupees.
