Govt. to provide level playing field for public, pvt. Sector insurance company Today said it will provide level playing field to both private and public sector insurance companies for growth. Replying to supplementary questions in the Rajya Sabha, Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee said the number of pending claims is coming down every year. Mr Mukherjee said for addressing the complaints of customers 12 ombudsman are working in different parts of the country.He gave the details of the policies by Private and Public sector insurance companies.
