The government will present the report prepared by Parliamentary Standing Committee on Science and Technology on Civil Nuclear Liability in both the Houses this afternoon. The Standing Committee headed by T. Subbarami Reddy finalized the recommendations after taking on board the concerns of the Opposition on the Nuclear Liability Bill. The Bill is expected to be tabled in the current session of Parliament. The Standing Committee held several rounds of discussion with the members of the Opposition on their concerns and adopted the changes after getting the BJP's nod. The Left parties say that they will give a dissenting note on the report. BJP on Tuesday hinted that it will support the Bill if its suggestions are incorporated. The Chairman of the Standing Committee Mr. Subbarami Reddy will brief the press later this afternoon about the recommendations of the Standing Committee.
