Government on Thursday said efforts will be made to bring down rising food inflation in the country. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said the high inflationary regime is not acceptable. Food inflation touched two-and-a-half month high of 9.13 per cent for the week ended June 11. Mr Mukherjee, however, expressed satisfaction on declining primary articles inflation, which came down from 12.86 per cent to 12.62 per cent in the week under review.
