The government says a national permit scheme will be implemented for vehicles. This will facilitate hassle free movement of trucks and buses and the states will share the composite fee of this scheme. Addressing media persons in New Delhi after the meeting of 32nd transport development council, the Surface Transport Minister Mr Kamal Nath urged all the states to form road safety councils.
