The Social Justice Ministry is implementing a scheme of National Overseas Scholarship for Scheduled Caste and others candidates.

Under the scheme, a total of 30 awards are available including two awards for the denotified, nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes.

The scheme provides financial assistance to selected candidates of the community for pursuing master level courses and Ph.D. courses abroad in the fields of engineering, management, pure Sciences, agricultural science and medicine.
