Government will launch a mobile app to create awareness about mosquito control and prevention and control of Dengue. Reviewing the preparation to address dengue situation with states in New Delhi, Health Secretary B P Sharma said, the advance review was done in view of the predicted upsurge of vector borne diseases due to global warming and El Nino effect. In the interaction with the States, it was pointed that as there is no specific drug or vaccine for Dengue, vector control measures constitute a priority action agenda.
