Environment and Forest Minister Mr. Jairam Ramesh today said the government will launch a dedicated satellite to measure Green House Gas Emission by 2012. Speaking at a national Workshop of Indian Network for Climate Change Assessment, Mr. Ramesh said government will also launch a dedicated forestry satellite by 2020-30 in collaboration with ISRO. The satellite will monitor aforestation and deforestation. <br/>
